In the limestone districts of Lurestan Province, there are numerous springs. These are: Siaab,Tang Qaleh, Pai'een Gardaneh Astan in Koohdasht, Nayee in Oshtorinan, Aab-Eram, Aab-Gerdab Darabi and Aab-Araz in Khorram Abad, Kian in Alishtar, Haft-Cheshmeh, Darreh Khooni, Assel, Masalehbeig in Borujerd and Cheshmeh Qilqilli in Azna. The important mineral water springs are: sulfur springs of Garab, Garkhooshab in Koohdasht and Ilard near the railway station. In the Lurestan Province, there are many places where water is revealed, taken to be as manifestations (of water). These are: Changali Spring, Khorram Abad Changali Spring in Khorram Abad is a beautiful spot where lotus plants can be seen in the water and other species of the same have been cultivated here. Kiyou Spring, Khorram Abad The color of the water of this spring is a dark blue its surrounding area is a wonderful recreational one. Other Springs and Water Treatment Centers, Lurestan Other examples are, 'Saraabs' of Hanam, Sorkheh and Pa'ie in Alishtar, Chagni and Motahari around Khorram Abad; Janizeh, Zereshkeh, Sefid, Zarom and Kartul in Borujerd; and Oshtorinan, Qar-e-Tamandar and Gerdkanak, Mahichal, Farsian,Gayikan, and Sardareh Roodaab near Aligoodarz; and Saraab-e-Roodak in Dorood. |
