Ab Nahr Village, Boyer Ahmad On passing the forests that are laden with oak trees in the twist and turns of the mountainous paths leading up to the altitudes of the Khatir Soukhteh, the Ab Nahr village comes into the sight. This village which is on the slopes of the Pazan Peer Mountains is a wonderful vicinity for mountaineering and other sports. Bahmaei Village, Kohkilouyeh The Bahmaei sector with its center as Kilak comprises of two small villages by the names of "frontier Bahmaei" and "tropical Bahmaei". The Lirab and Sidoon Rivers (that join together forming the Aiyla River), are flowing in this section and enter Jarahi River ultimately. Various springs are present in this area and grant an outstanding view to this region. Bahmaei is surrounded by several mountains of which the most important ones to be mentioned are Siyah Kooh and Sefid Kooh with a height of 3,124 meters. Bahmaei has a temperate and dry climate. Tang-e-Sorook is one of the most natural and attractive areas of this village. Charam Village, Kohkilouyeh The heights of Charman route are covered with forests a splendid sight for on lookers. The northwestern part of the village could be a suitable area to be utilized as a recreational area, which has been left virgin up to this date. This place is equipped with considerable facilities. Kheir Abad Historical Village, Gachsaran The Kheir Abad complex is one of the most important historical sites in Gachsaran. This complex consists of a school, fire temple, castles, and water reservoirs. In addition to this, a small castle made of stone exists on a mountain, close to which is one of the ancient temples of Anahita. The Kheir Abad ancient vicinity is related to the Sassanid period and reveals the ancient civilization of people of that age. The Kheir Abad comprises of a complex of villages surrounding the Shirin River. On both sides of this river, traces of buildings of the Sassanid period can be observed. Margoon Village, Yasooj Margoon is a part of the township of Boyer Ahmad and is located 24 km. of west of Yasooj - Brujen Road. The Saqaveh River passes from its southwestern part. Altitudes such as the Banar Mountain in the east, Margoon Mountain in north and Saqaveh in south have surrounded the Margoon Village. The presence of rivers and springs as well as mountains, waterfalls, vegetation cover and wildlife has increased the attractive sites of this village. The Margoon Waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls of Iran. Maymand Village, Boyer Ahmad In order to arrive at the Maymand Village, the Sisakht route that leads northwards must be selected. This road passes amongst dense oak forests providing verdant views and landscapes. The Khersan River which irrigates rice fields of this village is one of the most beautiful scenes of this area. Old Dehdasht, Kohkilouyeh Based on the historical writings, this area was called Belad Shapour in the past and was founded by Shapour I, the son of Ardeshir Sassanid I. Based on documents of Fars Nameh-ye- Naseri, it was one of the ancient cities that has witnessed lots of damages at the end of the Safavid era, as its trading routes were insecure. During the Zandieh period, this region faced further decline and plunder. In this area, historical remnants such as the water reservoir, Imamzadeh, and a citadel have been observed. Materials such as gypsum, plaster, lime and mortar, and stone slabs, have been used in their construction. The ceiling of the dome of the public bath is only of brick. Other Wonder Villages, Kohkilouyeh va Boyer Ahmad Landeh Village 22 km. at northwestern of Dehdasht, Sisakht Village 35 km. north west of Yasooj, Poleh Zilaei Village of Yasooj and Aidnak Village in Kohkilouyeh. |
