Imamzadeh Abdollah, Yasooj Imamzadeh Abdolah is located in Naqareh Khaneh village. Surrounding this Imamzadeh are ancient graves with engraved tomb stones. Some of which are engraved with riders on horseback with swords, symbols such as the sun and stars can be observed here. Most of the calligraphy on the tombstones is in the Persian or Arabic scripts. These tombstones also reveal that courageous personalities were buried in this area. Imamzadeh Bibi Hakimeh, Gachsaran The tomb of Bibi Hakimeh is located between Genaveh and Gachsaran. Based on some narrations, this tomb belongs to the daughter of Imam Jafar Sadeq (God up on his name). The tomb was renovated a few years ago. Close to this tomb there is a spring utilized by pilgrims. This site is highly respected by the inhabitants and has lots of visitors, especially during the Iranian New Year, Nou Rooz. Imamzadeh Pahlevan Mausoleum, Yasooj En route to Yasooj, beyond the main road and in the heart of the mountain there is a tomb called Imamzadeh Pahlevan. It consists of a room with walls and a dome of gypsum. Close to this Imamzadeh there are some stones, on which lots of engravings, writings and adornments can be noted. Imamzadeh Panjeh Khal, Dehdasht In the ancient city of Dehdasht, there are several beautiful architectural relics belonging to the Safavid period. Amidst the old quarters of the city, there are a few Imamzadehs with domes that attract the attention of the on looker. One of these structures is Imamzadeh Panjeh Khal. The same is a multi storied building with a beautiful courtyard that has a sculpture in the center. There is a beautiful inscription on the doorway with religious verses. The tomb which is in the center of a chamber is covered with a green colored material. Imamzadeh Seyed Mohammad, Dehdasht In south western Dehdasht, there is a village called Ravaq that is also known as Zorak which probably is the name of a tribe. This village had a rampart in past, which was of stone and plaster and some effects of that are still observed. In this vicinity there is a pilgrimage site by the name of Seyed Mohammad that is respected by the inhabitants. Imamzadeh Shah Abbas, Gachsaran This tomb is square in shape and is located at Lishtar west of Gachsaran. The height of the walls of tomb is 6 meters and it has a big dome. On the walls of this Imamzadeh adornments of plaster work and engravings can be observed and it seems to be one of the effects of the Safavid era. Khezr Mausoleum, Dehdasht This tomb is located to the south of Dehdasht and is small and square in shape. It has undergone repairs several times. This tomb is related to the Prophet Khezr and is highly respected by the people. Other Mausoleums and Imamzadehs, Kohkilouyeh va Boyer Ahmad Imamzadeh Seyed Isa, Mokhtar, Mahmood, Imamzadeh Hassan, Imamzadeh Qasem and Farajollah in Boyer Ahmad city; Imamzadeh Amir-Almomenin, Amir Shahriar, Ali Sadat, Mohammad Baqer, Masoum and Masoumeh, Yahya, Shahzadeh Soleiman, Seyed Soleiman, Seyed Emadeddin etc., located in Kohkilouyeh; and Imamzadeh Amir Javan and Amir Hamzeh, Peer Moemen, Seyed Fakhreddin, Ali Jami, Soltan Mohammad Shah, Mir Hossein Jalal in Gachsaran etc. |
