Dahoveh Hill, Gachsaran This hill is located in Dahoveh village of Gachsaran. Some very beautiful and delicate earthenwares have been discovered in this area. These vestiges can be compared to those of Behbahan and Tal-e-Bakoun of the Fars Province. This hill is probably belongs to the 3rd and 4th millennium B.C. Gerd Hill, Choram This hill is presently located in the center of Choram city. According to the Qajar documents, this hill was named as "Tal-e-Gerd Charam" and "Qaleh Tal-e-Gerd". Above this hill a castle had been built, the architectural style of which belongs to the Qajar era. It has tall defense walls towers with plaster works and other adornments. Khosravi Hill, Yasooj In the old geographical texts, the present city of Yasooj was named as Tal-e- Khosravi. This hillock, which even today is known as Tal-e- Khosravi, is situated to the south of Yasooj city. Besides this hillock all other remnants, in present Yasooj have been gradually ruined by the passage of time. Based on local narrations, Kaikhosrow had built a castle on this hillock, from which the yellow brick square shaped remnants can be still observed. This vicinity dates to the pre-Achaemenian period and is related to the 3rd millennium B.C. and was used in 9th and 10th centuries A.H. This hillock is located at a distance of 4 km. south of Yasooj close to the Tal-e- Khosravi Village. Malakanieh Hill (Malakanieh Kooshk), Yasooj This historical hill is related to the 3rd millennium B.C. and was used in the 8th to 10th centuries A.H. The same is located at a distance of 1 km. from the Badangan Village in northwest of Sisakht en route to Semirom. This site can be compared to the Shohada hills Dom Chenar, Tal-e-Mohrehie and Tal-e-Khosravi. Mohrehei Hill, Yasooj The same is one of the pre-historic hills of the province and belongs to the 4th and 3rd millennium B.C. from historical value point of view this hillock can be compared with the Dom Cheran hill in this region. This hillock is at a distance of 1 km. from the Saqareh Village of Yasooj. Other Historical Hills, Kohkilouyeh va Boyer Ahmad Dom Chenar at a distance of 400 km. from Dom Chenar Village in Yasooj; tal-e-Shohada in north eastern Yasooj, Tal-e-Chega en route to Basht Charam and Tal-e-Gabr in the center of Choram city. |
